What is CPLA?
CPLA stands for "Copolymer of Polylactic Acid and Polyglycolic Acid." It is a bioplastic material made from a blend of polylactic acid (PLA) and polyglycolic acid (PGA).
CPLA is biodegradable and environmentally friendly, as it can be produced from renewable sources such as corn starch or sugarcane. It is often used for disposable tableware, cutlery, and packaging materials, providing a more eco-friendly alternative to conventional plastic products. CPLA decomposes more rapidly in the environment than traditional plastics, thus contributing to reducing environmental impact.
