The ISO test applies primarily to cut-resistant gloves containing steel or glass fibers. The Coupe test uses a circular blade that rotates several times over the test glove. The result is a cut protection level from 1 to 5, where 5 corresponds to the best grade. The ISO test, on the other hand, is performed with a sharp blade.
