Organic forks made of bagasse by NatureStar
NatureStar's organic forks are made purely from vegetable sugar cane fibres. The so-called bagasse is a by-product of sugar production and far too good to simply be thrown away. The bagasse can be further processed into a versatile organic raw material by adding water and binding agents and pressed into a wide variety of shapes. Whether plates, bowls or forks: organic disposable tableware made from sugar cane is environmentally friendly, industrially compostable and surprisingly stable. It is waterproof, stackable and can even withstand high temperatures in the oven and microwave. The organic sugar cane forks are particularly robust and a real organic alternative to plastic cutlery in all takeaway areas of the catering industry. The organic sugar cane forks are durable, making them perfect for hot or cold dishes.
