The plate is on the one hand very stable and on the other hand oil and grease resistant, as well as waterproof. These properties are given to the plate by its special material. It consists of sugarcane fibers, a waste product of sugar production. This makes the disposable dish heat resistant up to 100° C and is therefore suitable for the microwave and the refrigerator. In addition, the plates can be very space-saving stow or store, since they are stackable.
