Advantages of C-Fold compared to other fold types
1. C-fold
C-fold paper towels stay completely within the dispenser and can be removed individually without any protruding remnants. The larger sheet size makes the C-fold ideal for applications requiring high absorbency and coverage. Drawback: Removing a towel does not automatically pull out the next one, which may be seen as slightly less convenient in high-traffic areas.
2. ZZ-fold (Zigzag Fold)
With the ZZ-fold, the towels are zigzagged, so when one sheet is pulled out, the next is automatically ready. This folding makes removal easy and ensures that a towel is always visible. ZZ-fold is ideal for high-traffic areas and allows for efficient use. Small drawback: The start of the next towel protrudes from the dispenser, and in dusty environments, the towels may become soiled.
3. Interfold
Interfold towels are folded so that when one towel is removed, the next is also partially pulled out. This type of folding prevents waste, as towels are taken one at a time. Interfold is a space-saving option for dispensers with smaller towel capacities or small spaces with limited room. However, compact interfold papers are not recommended for dusty work environments, as the start of the next towel always protrudes from the dispenser, posing a risk of contamination.
