DuPont™ Tyvek® 500 lab coat PL309NP offers reliable protection and high wearing comfort for demanding work environments. The lab coat features a practical zip and collar, with internal seams and covered elasticated bands at the sleeve ends for a secure fit. It is designed without pockets to minimise the risk of contamination. Tyvek® is made from fine, spun continuous fibres of high-density polyethylene, combining protection, durability and breathability.
The material is air and water vapour permeable, repellent to water-based liquids and spray mist, and provides a high barrier against fine particles. In addition, it is antistatic, low-lint and silicone-free. The lab coat is certified according to EU Regulation 2016/425 for partial body protection Category III, Type PB [6-B], and complies with EN 14126 for protection against infectious agents and EN 1149-1 for antistatic properties.
Typical applications include handling pharmaceuticals, chemical protection, lead and asbestos removal, maintenance work, spray painting and general cleaning tasks.
