ProShield® 20 SFR garments are made from a halogen-free, flame-retardant polypropylene SMS non-woven fabric that provides limited protection against the spread of flame (Index 1) in addition to protection from particles and limited liquid splashes or splashes of water-based liquids. They must always be worn over primary flame retardant protective clothing such as Nomex®.
