Therefore, the protective gowns can be used as chemical protective clothing with limited protective effect. This means they are suitable for use with light chemical sprays, liquid aerosols or splashes that impinge at low pressure, and wherever a complete barrier against liquid permeation (at the molecular level) is not required.
