Questions & Answers

Here we have summarized the most frequently asked questions and answers about this product. If you still have questions about the product or our online store and its use, please take a look at the FAQ's or contact us directly via e-mail or telephone - we will be happy to advise you!

Plants consist largely of cellulose. It is fibrous and insoluble in water. Cellulose is the most important raw material for paper production and is often obtained from wood. For the NATUREStar products from Franz Mensch, we expressly refrain from clearing rainforests and pay attention to particularly natural manufacturing processes. NATUREStar coffee cups are made from environmentally friendly cardboard and coated on the inside with PLA (corn starch). They meet all the requirements of the European standard EN 13432 for guaranteed compostability. After 80 days of professional composting, more than 90% of the material has completely biodegraded. After six months, even the smallest particles (less than 2 mm) are completely metabolized.
