The organic packaging made of kraft paper and corn starch is ideal for wraps, chips and other finger food to go. The wrap cups are made exclusively from plant-based materials and are therefore industrially compostable - confirmed by EN 13432. Kraft paper is the most stable type of paper and is particularly durable. The organic snack cups are coated on the inside with corn starch, known as PLA. PLA is a type of organic film that makes the wrap cups wet-stable and grease-resistant. This makes the kraft paper boxes ideal as hygienic snack packaging for your takeaway area. The square lunch boxes are the sustainable solution for all to-go meals, delivery service or for packing leftovers after a visit to a restaurant. The organic men's lunch boxes are made exclusively from natural sugar cane fibres, known as bagasse. Bagasse is a waste product that is inevitably produced during industrial sugar production and would have to be disposed of. As organic disposable tableware, the valuable, solid fibres are given a new purpose.
The sugar cane fibres are processed into a pulp with the addition of water and binding agents. The mass is then pressed into moulds and dried. This produces very high-quality, white organic lunch boxes, plates, bowls or cups. Disposable tableware made from sugar cane is free of plastics or coatings and can therefore be composted industrially. NatureStar's organic lunch bowls comply with EN 13432 for guaranteed compostability.
The organic food boxes with hinged lids are available in numerous sizes, colours and shapes. You can choose between four different volumes - from 450 ml to 1300 ml - and between white or natural brown colour in each case. The large undivided surface offers plenty of space for pasta, salads, rice dishes or your favourite curry sausage with chips.
Transporting food with sauces or dressings is also possible with sugar cane boxes, as the material is very dense and stable. The hinged lid is easy to close and protects your food during transport. In addition, the menu boxes are heat-resistant up to 100 °C and suitable for both freezing and reheating in the microwave or oven.

Bagasse refers to the fibers of sugar cane that remain after sugar production. Sugar cane belongs to the family of sweet grasses and grows very quickly, similar to bamboo. While trees take decades to grow, sugar cane only takes a few months to reach up to 6 meters. This rapid growth rate makes sugar cane an economically efficient and relatively inexpensive organic raw material.

Sugar cane is the most important raw material for sugar production worldwide. For the sugar extraction process, the sugar cane is rolled and pressed to extract the sugar-containing juice. As a by-product, the fibrous part remains, the bagasse, which produces about 10 tons of sugar and 34 tons of bagasse from 100 tons of sugar cane. Normally the bagasse would be burned as waste, but for the production of organic disposable tableware, these robust fibers are used. This avoids waste and conserves resources. The bagasse fibers are ground with water and natural binders to a uniform pulp, processed and pressed into different shapes. The result is plates, lunch boxes, hamburger boxes or cups that consist entirely of plant components and are therefore completely compostable. Depending on whether the bagasse is bleached or not, the result is a bright white or a naturally brown end product.

Like bamboo, the fast-growing sugar cane comes from the sweet grass family and is the world's most important supplier of raw materials for the production of sugar. The sugar cane is rolled and pressed to extract the sugar juice.

The fibrous part, bagasse, remains as a by-product. Normally, bagasse is a waste product that is incinerated.
