The disposable aprons are made of EVA material. The abbreviation stands for ethylene vinyl acetate and is related to plastics such as PE. However, EVA is many times more hard-wearing than PE and is more durable, especially when temperatures change. EVA aprons are ideal for slaughterhouses or other food production facilities where there are frequent changes between hot and cold (e.g. cold store and production hall). They do not become brittle and remain supple. What's more, the bib aprons have a hygienic, smooth surface and the material is waterproof.
