Cut protection gloves Cut Allfood Hot by Hygostar

The Cut Allfood Hot is a heat-resistant and particularly grippy cut protection glove. It is ideal for work in the kitchen, bakery, grill, oven and many other food areas. As a cut-resistant glove, it is recommended wherever sharp-edgedhot objects need to be handled, e.g. pointed grill tongs, edged metal sheets, etc. Thanks to the silicone strips on both sides, the Cut Hot offers a high degree of grip so that you can also safely grasp slippery work utensils.

The secret of its success lies in the very hard-wearing special fibres from which the glove is made. These high-performance fibres protect your hands from cuts, abrasion and heat up to 350°C. Another advantage: the fibres are food safe, so the Cut Allfood Hot cut protection glove is approved for direct contact with food.

Overall, the Cut Allfood Hot cut protection glove is very comfortable to wear. The fine knit and the soft inner lining allow the skin to breathe and ensure a pleasant wearing sensation. The Cut Allfood Hot heat protection and cut protection glove is machine washable and can be worn on both sides.

Standard info: Cut protection according to EN 388

EN 388 is used to determine whether a glove offers protection against injuries. The standard provides for various tests on cut resistance, abrasion resistance, etc. New materials and high-performance fibres made it necessary to adapt the cut protection test a few years ago. In addition to the previous Coupe test, which is used especially for gloves made of high-tech fibres, there is now another test: the TDM cut resistance test according to EN ISO 13997, in short: ISO test. The ISO test applies primarily to cut protection gloves that contain steel or glass fibres. The Coupe test uses a circular blade that rotates several times over the test glove. The result is a cut protection level from 1 to 5, with 5 being the best. The ISO test, on the other hand, is carried out with a sharp blade. It is pressed once on the test glove to measure how much force cuts through the glove. The result is given in grades A to F. F has the best protective effect.

Standards information: Cut protection according to EN 388
EN 388 determines whether a glove offers sufficient protection against injuries. This standard specifies various tests, including for cut and abrasion resistance. Due to the development of new materials and high-performance fibers, the cut protection test had to be adapted a few years ago. In addition to the conventional Coupe test, which is mainly used for gloves made of high-tech fibers, there is now an additional test: the TDM cut resistance test in accordance with EN ISO 13997, or ISO test for short. This is particularly relevant for cut-resistant gloves that contain materials such as steel or glass fibers. As part of the Coupe test, a rotating circular blade is passed over the glove to be tested several times. The resulting cut protection level ranges from level 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest rating. The ISO test, on the other hand, uses a sharp blade that is applied to the glove once with pressure to determine the amount of force required to cut through the glove. The result is classified in levels A to F, with F being the best possible protection.

Work safely: PPE for butchers
Protect yourself with chain and cut protection gloves
Occupational safety is a high priority in meat-processing companies. Accidents involving knives are among the most common injuries. Wearing stab- and cut-resistant gloves is mandatory! A robust yet comfortable glove to protect against cuts is the "stab-resistant glove". This consists of a mesh of stainless steel rings with a diameter of 4 mm. It can be precisely adjusted using the tried-and-tested push-button technology.
At the same time, the glove can be removed quickly. The stab protection glove can be easily switched from "left" to "right" without tools. It is hygienic, lightweight and comfortable to wear. It is ideally suited for use in food production. Chain gloves can be secured with PU glove tighteners. These are suitable for a better fit of the stab-resistant gloves and serve to compensate for any differences in size. For optimum PPE, we recommend wearing stab-resistant chain aprons in addition to the protective gloves.

Cut protection gloves for a demanding working environment
The cut protection gloves are suitable for different applications. For example, they can be used to protect the knife-wielding hand from possible cuts.
