It is made from a lightweight yet robust material consisting of a proprietary barrier film laminated onto a durable Tyvek® substrate and offers an exceptionally high barrier against the permeation of numerous chemicals. This protects the wearer against organic as well as highly concentrated inorganic chemicals, even under pressure, as well as against particles, infectious agents and certain chemical warfare agents.The slip-resistant sole ensures secure footing, while fixing straps guarantee a firm fit. The sole is partially stitched and splash-proof, but not completely liquid-tight; the seams are taped with barrier tape to increase protection and durability. The DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 F boot cover is certified according to EU Regulation 2016/425 as partial body protection category III type PB 3-B, meets EN 14126 for protective clothing against infectious agents and is antistatic on the inside in accordance with EN 1149-1. DuPont™ Tyvek® IsoClean® overboots IC458B00 with slip-resistant Gripper™ sole offer reliable protection and high wearing comfort in one. The overboots feature covered elasticated bands at calves and leg ends as well as ankle ties to ensure a secure fit. Bound, internal seams provide additional stability.
Tyvek® IsoClean® is made from high-density polyethylene, manufactured using the patented flash-spinning process, and offers an effective barrier against particles, microorganisms and harmless splashes of water-based liquids. The material is breathable, extremely low-lint and antistatic. They are compatible with the DuPont™ Tyvek® IsoClean® cleanroom coverall IC 183 B WH TS (art. no. TD15560733) or the DuPont™ Tyvek® IsoClean® chemo gown IC 703S 00 (art. no. TD15542353).
The overboots are not processed under cleanroom conditions and not sterilised, but are manufactured in a controlled environment. They are suitable for use in cleanrooms of GMP class C/D as well as in industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, food processing, cosmetics and electronics. Certified according to EU Regulation 2016/425 for partial body protection Category III, Type PB [6-B], they also comply with EN 14126 for protection against infectious agents and EN 1149-1 for antistatic properties.
