Most modern new building for warehouse and administration

Franz Mensch GmbH launches one of the most significant construction projects in the company's history in 2025. With an investment of around 30 million euros, an ultra-modern new building is being built that combines warehouse and administration space under one roof. ‘This building sets new standards in efficiency, sustainability and employee friendliness,’ explain Managing Directors Achim and Axel Theiler.

Demonstrably sustainable

Franz Mensch was awarded the bronze medal in the EcoVadis rating. This honours the company's commitment to greater sustainability. EcoVadis is one of the world's largest providers of sustainability ratings for companies. The focus is on the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Franz Mensch has risen sharply in this rating over the past year and will continue to work on becoming even better!

Franz Mensch nominated for the ‘Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses’

Only one in every thousand companies in Germany makes it onto the nomination list. Franz Mensch has been included for the third year in a row and is nominated for the 2026 ‘Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses’. The company has made it through the first round of the rigorous selection process. Nomination for this competition, for which companies cannot apply themselves, is considered a ticket to the ‘network of the best’. An independent jury will select the winners and finalists.

Pandemic warehouse opened and 50 years of Franz Mensch celebrated

Training fair

Fun in the photo booth, good spirits and lots of valuable conversations: the Franz Mensch team presented all of the company's training opportunities. It was a great opportunity to get to know the current trainees and ask any questions. 

Franz Mensch offers training in the following professions (m/f/d): wholesale and foreign trade management assistant, business administrator, e-commerce assistant, marketing communications assistant, IT specialist for system integration, IT specialist for application development, warehouse logistics specialist.

Strong for youth sport

Franz Mensch has been the main youth sponsor of the local sports club FC Buchloe for a year now. As an official partner, the protective clothing manufacturer supports the club's entire youth football team. ‘The youth, the sport and the town of Buchloe are very close to our hearts. It's all about team spirit, fairness and fun in the community - that's what we want to promote,’ says Managing Director Axel Theiler.

Clubs like FC Buchloe play an important social role. Football promotes integration. Making friends, learning the language and having fun together. That is very much in the spirit of Mensch and that is why we want to continue our active involvement here.
