These astro caps made of PP meet high hygienic requirements and belong to the bestsellers among the hygienic disposable caps. They are particularly popular in the food industry, slaughterhouses and other sensitive areas where the mouth, nose and the entire head must be covered for reasons of hygiene. Their advantage is that the disposable caps have a sewn-on two-layer face mask, which is put on with a comfortable head elastic. The face mask is thus firmly integrated and cannot be forgotten. Thanks to the bendable nose clip, the mask fits very well and seals well to the face.
The astro caps have a high quality and are made of air-permeable, soft PP fleece. They are for one-time use, but thanks to the high quality of the material, they are comfortable and skin-friendly even when worn for longer periods of time, as they are 100% latex-free. The PP astro caps have an elastic band at the forehead, which ensures both an optimal fit and a clear field of vision, because nothing slips.

What is PP?
PP is the abbreviation for polypropylene, the standard material for protective clothing and disposable products. Usually, this synthetic fiber is processed into a soft nonwoven, which is then used to make a textile-like fabric. PP fleece is air-permeable, very economical, comfortable and even offers slight protection against liquids because splashes simply roll off.

Food-safe through and through: the latest generation of work gloves

Franz Mensch is expanding its allfood series. The new range includes different versions of work gloves that are equipped with a unique, food-safe coating. These are the first coated gloves to be specially certified for hygiene-sensitive production areas. They also comply with the latest EN 388.
Long awaited: Intensive development work pays off
Customers have been requesting work gloves for food areas for a long time. The challenge lay in developing the right materials. The backing material and coating had to both protect against injuries and be food-safe, i.e. leave no residue in food. With the new allfood series from HYGOSTAR, Franz Mensch has succeeded in meeting these requirements.
Food-safe, wet-strength and safe
The highlight lies in the special nitrile or water-based PU coatings.
They have been specially developed for food areas and comply with EN 388.
All coated gloves provide reliable protection against moisture and keep hands dry. Varied selection
Available in the allfood range: fine knit gloves, cut protection gloves and work gloves, each with a waterproof coating. The coatings are available in extra robust nitrile or more economical and lightweight PU. All gloves offer comfort and sensitivity thanks to the elastic polyamide backing material.
