The Tychem® material has high strength and offers resistant protection, even under demanding conditions. All protective suits must undergo rigorous testing in an independent testing laboratory before being approved for use. Tychem® materials are subjected to permeation tests with numerous toxic solids, liquids and gases and protect the wearer from direct exposure to several hundred potentially toxic and hazardous chemicals of industrial, biological or medical origin.
