These astro caps made of PP nonwoven meet an extremely high standard of hygiene, as they are equipped with a 3-layer medical face mask. Since Corona outbreaks, the medical mask is legally required in many places in meat production and also useful. This is because these face masks are 3-layered and have a tested filter performance in accordance with medical standard EN 14683 Type II. This means that the risk of possible infections spreading within the facility is reduced. The integrated filter layer allows aerosols contaminated with germs or viruses to get stuck in the mask when you exhale. The mask protects against the transmission of pathogens through droplets - especially when sneezing, coughing and speaking.
Franz Mensch has developed these innovative and unique disposable astro caps specifically for slaughterhouses and the meat industry. The overshoes antistatic are equipped with a sewn-on black contact tape that prevents static charge. The tape conducts electrical charge into the ground in a controlled and safe manner. Antistatic overshoes are therefore ideal for industry and wherever it is a matter of protecting both the employee and the machines from electrostatic charge.
Important: To ground the body, the black anti-static tape must be in contact with the skin. It is long enough to be simply tucked into the socks, for example.
